- Yemeksepeti, the fast-moving Turkish trading platform, has launched the “Together Tastes Good” project, which provides hot and delicious meals to people in need. When users order for themselves on Yemeksepeti, they can add menus discounted by 50% to their shopping cart under the name “Taste Comes Together.” In this way, the hot meals that are on the Unity is Born to Taste menu are sent to soup kitchens and delivered to those in need. The discounts under the project, in which restaurants voluntarily participate, are funded by Yemeksepeti.
Soup kitchens and food banks in the region are identified and coordinated by the Basic Needs Association (“TİDER”), the project’s business partner. The project, implemented in collaboration with Yemeksepeti and TİDER, will start as a pilot project in the Istanbul/Ataşehir region from April 4 during Ramadan and will soon be expanded to the whole of Turkey.

Food Basket has carried out many successful and effective sustainability projects together with its users and business partners. With the support of its users, Yemeksepeti has prevented tons of plastic from entering the natural environment, and many donations have been made to non-governmental organizations.
This time, with the ‘Together Tastes Good” project to be launched in Ramadan, Yemeksepeti will respond to a vital need in the food sector in collaboration with Yemeksepeti member restaurants, Yemeksepeti users and TİDER, providing hot, delicious and healthy meals to those in need.
To support the project, it is possible to check the menus of “Taste Comes from Unity” on Yemeksepeti and donate as many as desired.
