“As a continuation of our sustainability projects”
Yemeksepeti CMO Okan Erol said that podcast culture has become widespread and increasingly valuable in Turkey in recent years, “Sustainability has always been a priority for Yemeksepeti, which has ‘building tomorrow from today’ in its DNA. For example, thanks to the ‘Keep Green’ button on our order screen, we used a total of 926 tons less plastic last year. Since 2020, we have reforested two forests in the Izmit Derince region to offset the carbon emissions caused by the fuel used by all office and warehouse operations and field teams, and we have taken another important step to reduce our carbon footprint by expanding delivery by electric motorcycle. We are pleased to have added another building block to our work with Tomorrow in My Mind. I believe that this podcast program, with the content it will provide to its listeners, will be a useful work on the way to a more livable future,” he said.
“We are looking for answers to the questions in our heads”
The program, published on the Podbee platform, is prepared and presented by Derin Altan and Utku Gueven, who shed light on the climate crisis in all its aspects. Altan and Gueven, who are known for their publications on sustainability issues, had this to say about the topic: “As two people who read, learn, research, discuss and live about climate change and sustainability, we asked ourselves many questions like everyone else: “Is this business a rich business, we “What is sustainability?
