- The second round of the “E-commerce Expertise Training Program”, which is conducted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and aims to provide qualified human resources to the e-commerce sector, has been successfully completed with the contributions of Yemeksepeti. The second round of the training, which started in August with the contributions of expert managers from Yemeksepeti, one of the main supporters of the project, discussed critical issues such as data management of fast trade, relationship management with business partners and user experience design.
Yemeksepeti, the pioneer of fast commerce in Turkey, continued its support for the TOBB ETU SEM E-Commerce Expertise Training Certificate Program, which was implemented by the Turkish E-Commerce Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in order to respond to the need for qualified personnel in the Turkish e-commerce ecosystem. As part of the project, Yemeksepeti executives held the first training sessions on August 16, which were well attended. In the first semester of the program, those eligible to receive certificates were trained as professionals who closely follow the developments in the sector and offer innovative perspectives to the sector. On December 21, the second training session was held with the participation of Yemeksepeti and the number of participants reached 117.
Yemeksepeti’s expert managers provided trainings
Under the leadership of TOBB and with the main support of Yemeksepeti, the project aims to provide e-commerce training to 500 people within one year. The trainings, which aim to provide participants with a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge, will be conducted by trainers from TOBB ETU Continuing Education Center (SEM) and experienced professionals in the sector.
Yemeksepeti executives Yasemen Gizem Alayoğlu, “The place of data in fast commerce”, Yusuf Cihan Turgut, “Relationship management with business partners in fast commerce, partner experience development and growth strategy” and Sercan Akkaş, “Ideal product management and user experience design in fast commerce”.
This strategic cooperation contributes significantly to the sustainable growth of the sector and Yemeksepeti, with this initiative, contributes both to the development of the sector and to the increase of qualified human resources in the e-commerce sector. Successful participants were awarded a certificate by TOBB ETU SEM, while the program also offers free training within the quota for those affected by the February 6 earthquake.
