Yemeksepeti, the leading brand of fast commerce in Turkey, achieved a great success by winning a total of four awards in two prestigious award programs in December. Yemeksepeti won the Bronze Award in the “Food Experience Marketing/Brand Collaborations” category at the FOMA (Food Marketing) Awards, and immediately afterwards, it received awards in three different categories at the Marketing Turkey E-Commerce Awards. These awards showed that Yemeksepeti’s innovative approaches in marketing and logistics were appreciated by the industry.
Paribu Pizza Day campaign won an award
On December 11th, at the FOMA Awards, Yemeksepeti won the Bronze Award in the “Food Experience Marketing/Brand Collaborations” category with the “Paribu Pizza Day” campaign, a collaboration between Yemeksepeti and Paribu. The campaign aimed to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day, which is considered a milestone in the cryptocurrency world and symbolizes the first time Bitcoin was used in a real-world shopping transaction.
By offering 100,000 gift pizza vouchers valid on Yemeksepeti to Paribu users, this special day was celebrated in a meaningful way and a pleasant experience was created for users. During the campaign, Yemeksepeti achieved an impressive success by breaking records in daily pizza orders. This result proved that the creative collaboration between Yemeksepeti and Paribu succeeded in gaining the attention and appreciation of users.
Eco-friendly delivery project attracted attention
At the E-Commerce Awards organized by Marketing Turkey on December 12, Yemeksepeti made a difference in the event with its success in the jury and public voting. Yemeksepeti, which won the Gold Award in the “Best Innovation in Delivery” category with the jury vote, once again demonstrated its environmental responsibility and sustainable logistics approach with its Green Logistics project.
Thanks to this project, which aims to expand the use of pedestrian and bicycle couriers, fossil fuel consumption was reduced and carbon emissions were minimized. As of 2023, the project contributed 1.17 percent to total orders on a monthly basis, and increased this rate to 2.61 percent in 2024, further increasing its impact.
Double award to Yemeksepeti application
In the Public Voting held as part of the E-Commerce Awards, Yemeksepeti won the Gold Award in the “Food Ordering Application of the Year” category, showing once again that it is the favorite of its users. It was seen that Yemeksepeti reinforced its leadership in the sector with the fast and high-quality service it offers to millions of people across Turkey.
The platform also proved its success in grocery shopping, winning the Silver Award in the “Food/Grocery App of the Year” category. With its user-friendly interface, wide product range and fast delivery service, Yemeksepeti continued to be one of the most preferred platforms for grocery shopping.
