Yemeksepeti’s “Pick Up” Service Now Available Nationwide in Turkey!

  • Yemeksepeti’s multi-channel experience “Pick Up” is now available to all users and member restaurants across Turkey, following its initial rollout in Istanbul. The “Pick Up” service, which saves users time, also provides the opportunity to benefit from the discounts and advantages offered by Yemeksepeti.

The leading brand of quick commerce in Turkey, Yemeksepeti, launched a pilot of the “Pick Up” service in selected member restaurants in Istanbul’s Şişli and Kadıköy districts last October. This service has now been introduced nationwide.
The “Pick Up” service allows Yemeksepeti users to order food from member restaurants near their chosen address and pick it up themselves. The pilot of this service, which started with 4,000 restaurants, quickly garnered significant interest, reaching 57,000 restaurants within a week.

With “Pick Up”, users can pick up their orders when going to work, returning home, during lunch breaks, or at any other time. The “Pick Up” service, where discount benefits applicable at Yemeksepeti’s member restaurants can also be used, thus offers users price advantages.

Thanks to “Pick Up”, Yemeksepeti users can discover new restaurants and get information about restaurants in their area while on the move, due to the map feature, quickly accessing takeaway food.
To celebrate the launch of “Pick Up” in Turkey, Yemeksepeti is offering discounts of up to 50% on all orders. Another positive aspect of the service is its contribution to sustainability and nature.

The Number of Orders Skyrocketed Due to Great Interest from Customers

Yemeksepeti’s “Pick Up” service has shown great success according to sales data, demonstrating that users quickly adapted to this new service and it holds significant potential. In March, the “Pick Up” service grew by 65%, successfully meeting customer needs and increasing Yemeksepeti’s competitive power in the market by offering innovative solutions.

Kebabs and Turkish Cuisine Most Preferred in “Pick Up”

In Yemeksepeti’s “Pick Up” service, Kebab & Turkish Cuisine was the most preferred, leading with a rate of 32%. Dessert and Coffee took second and third places respectively, with rates of 11% and 10%. Döner (9.7%) and Pide & Lahmacun (5.8%) also stood out as important user preferences. Other types of cuisine such as Seafood, Bakery & Oven, Chicken, and International Cuisine also managed to attract interest from users, with rates ranging from 2.5% to 4.6%.
