The YEBO autonomous robot, which takes orders from contract restaurants in Akmerkez, takes over the task of delivering them to the sales representative at the door.

Yemeksepeti’s environmentally friendly and innovative delivery robot YEBO serves restaurants in shopping malls even better with version 2.0 of the project implemented in collaboration with Saha Robotik. YEBO stands in the waiting area of the restaurant floor at Akmerkez, walks to the front of the restaurant and waits for orders placed with contract restaurants through Yemeksepeti.

Thank you to the two chambers in the robot, YEBO can carry many more packages at once. After the restaurant employee, who enters the code PIN, uploads the order to YEBO, YEBO uses the elevator to descend from the Akmerkez dining floor to the first floor. The Yemeksepeti field worker waiting at the door selects the name of the restaurant on the screen, enters the PIN defined specifically for him, opens the hopper and takes the order. Thus, he does not waste time entering the mall and taking the order.

Autonomous robot can use elevator

Equipped with the latest hardware and software technologies, YEBO stops when an object or a living being approaches it and easily finds its way thanks to its advanced sensors. When the elevator needs to be used, it sends the floor information to the electronic card developed by Saha Robotics and integrated into the elevator car, and sends a call signal to the elevator. Through the elevator card, he can read information such as the floor of the elevator, the occupancy rate and the time of opening and closing the door. It constantly communicates with the elevator and gets on when it reaches the floor it wants to go to, and when it reaches the floor it wants to go to, it goes down and to the destination.
