The specially designed version of the YEBO delivery robot, which initially worked for the contract restaurants in Akasya, will soon be deployed in other locations.

Yemeksepeti, the pioneer of food and fast food retailing in Turkey, has launched a new application in Akasya that brings the delivery methods of the future to life today. The indoor version of the YEBO autonomous robot, which began delivering groceries in Caddebostan in recent months, is now being deployed in Akasya for select restaurants. YEBO, the malls delivery robot, will take over the task of picking up the order at the restaurant and handing it over to the courier at the door.

How does the shopping centre robot YEBO work?

Yemeksepeti’s innovative YEBO delivery robot, developed in collaboration with Saha Robotics, delivers to restaurants in shopping malls. The shopping mall robot YEBO starts waiting on the loading platform when an order is placed with Yemeksepeti.

Thank you to the two hoppers in the robot, YEBO can be loaded with orders from two different restaurants at the same time. After the restaurant employee enters the code PIN, he uploads the order to YEBO and the robot makes its way to the entrance of the shopping centre. The sales representative waiting at the door selects the name of the restaurant on the screen, enters PIN, opens the hopper and takes the order.
