In addition to Felis, Yemeksepeti has also won prestigious awards such as The Hammers Awards and Brandverse Awards thanks to the Baklava Girl campaign. The inspiring story of the project began when a Twitter user compared a stone in Eyuep to a baklava. Yemeksepeti’s social media team caught this event before it went viral and took immediate action.
Yemeksepeti combined real-time and guerrilla marketing techniques by highlighting this funny social media event with the hashtag “Baklava81” while taking advantage of the situation with a discount coupon, thus integrating its performance marketing strategy into this campaign. This approach helped the project go viral.
Yemeksepeti received two awards on the same day
Yemeksepeti’s social media team was honored with the Felis Award at the Brand Week ceremony.
Yemeksepeti was also named Turkey’s favorite brand in the “Food Ordering” category of the “Turkey’s Lovemarks 2023” survey organized by MediaCat and Ipsos for its user-friendly platform, extensive restaurant network and excellent customer service.
